The first World Spintop Contest was held in Orlando, Florida, U.S.A. in 2000 with World YoYo Contest, and this year will be the 24th.

This year will be the first time that the World Spintop Contest will be held independently.

The 2023 World Spintop Contest invites Spintop players from all over the world to participate in the following events

(1) To promote international exchange

(2) To let people know the fun and history of Spintop/Koma.

(3) To help the participating players promote the Spintop in their respective countries.

The purpose of this event is to promote international exchange through the Tops.

This will help the players to realize that playing top is not just a "toy" but a "great tool" that can connect with the world, and will also create opportunities for those who have never played with top to experience top, which will lead to a change in people's awareness of top.

As a result, "playing top" is not just a part of "traditional games" that must be "preserved", but it can also be a foundation for a sustainable culture where people voluntarily "play because they want to play". We believe that this is not just an obligatory "preservation" as a part of "playing" in the past.

We would like to increase the number of Spintop/Koma players and provide an environment where people can take pride and admiration in being a player.

This December, let's have fun with Spintop/Koma as a tool to interact with the world in Hachioji!
