This high-precision, full-aluminum kendama is machined by a small factory in Katsushika-ku, Tokyo, and is named “pico” to mean even smaller than the Mini and Nano models in the SG Kendama series.
The overall height of the kendama is 29.4mm and the overall weight is only 3.4 grams, but the precisely machined plate and balls make it possible to actually perform the game well.
Reproduction of the “ball bearing built-in Tama” that has become common in recent years for kendama. To match the small size of the body, a miniature ball bearing made in Japan by NSK Micro Precision is installed. The built-in bearing reduces the effect of the string on the technique when the ball is pulled up, making it easier to perform spike-type tricks.
This is the model that I, Spingear staff Akira, actually use in the Kendama show.
It is very small, but the cups are machined with high precision so that the tama are easy to catch.
Please get it and challenge your own limits!
【Machined in Japan】
The ken and tama are machined by Mitsumi factory, the same company that manufactures Ozora 66% and Chaos Maker.
The shape is based on Spingear's original competition kendama "SG Kendama Freestyle". We named the kendama “pico-size,” which is beyond mini-size and nano-size, and developed it with the top priority of being small but still being able to use.

【NSK Bearing】
In kendama competitions, it is common to customize the Tamas with ball bearings.
The SG Kendama pico is the world's smallest kendama as a built-in ball bearing model.
681 size bearing made by NSK Micro Precision Co., LTD.
Outer diameter 3mm / Inner diameter 1mm / Thickness 1mm / Ball diameter 0.5mm
It use smaller bearing than used in regular kendama. The right one is a 608-size bearing commonly used for skateboards, etc.
【Brass Tama】
As a limited edition, we release brass version tama.(not including ken and bearing)
While designing SG kendama pico, there were two types of prototypes created, one made of aluminum and the other made of brass.
As a result of considerations of corrosion resistance and ease of coloring, aluminum alloys were used in the production version, but brass models were heavier than aluminum and had the advantage of being easier to do some tricks.
Therefore, we have decided to sell the tama only for kendama players.
While the tama of the standard version weigh 1.8g, the brass tama weigh 5.2g, about 2.9 times heavier, making them less likely to spill out when you catch. This is recommended for those who perform.
*Because it is made of raw brass, the surface may tarnish or rust over time.
【Cautions for use】
The threads are easily broken. Please understand that the durability of this product is different from that of a regular kendama, and do not pull it hard. Please replace the string by yourself if it breaks as it is a consumable item.
There are small parts. Please be careful that small children do not accidentally ingest them. Do not use the product for purposes other than its original use. (This product is intended for ages 13 and up.)
The bearing may pop out during use due to its detachable structure. Do not try to push it in at an angle with excessive force. Please re-insert the bearing straight into the hole and it will go in smoothly.
The anodizing (red coloring) of the balls inevitably results in small colorless points at the top of the balls due to their structure. Please note that this is a specification.
