Different material variations of Spin Gear's classic product, the Spin Gadget.
#Spin Gadget Trilogy Following the first POM, SL!(Silicon) is now available.
A soft material that overturns the common wisdom of yo-yos! The body is made of silicone except around the minimum nut and the spacer in the centre, where hardness is required, making it the most siliconised yo-yo in the industry.
The spin gadget series of course fits caps and rings, but the centrifugal force of rotation deforms the body, causing parts to fly off and making it very dangerous. It is tempting to customise, but please do not do anything rash with this series and use it as it is. It is very cool if you change the nuts to normal ones and attach the caps for display purposes.
We were initially considering releasing this as a model with a cap, but due to its softness, the cap would blow off with a single throw, so we gave up on the idea of making it standard with a cap.
Full throws by competitive players are also dangerous as the yo-yo deforms and becomes shaky.
We recommend that you play with a soft yo-yo with a soft throwing style that suits the yo-yo's softness. Unlike the Spigazi P and past models, this yo-yo is designed to enjoy the taste of the material and is not intended to be easy to use in any way.
Can you play with a silicone body? The silicone body is not easy to play with, but it can be used to walk the dog, but it can also be used to do other things.
Trapeze and Brain Twister can be played, but if you rely on the rotation of the yoyo and try to swing it around, it will interfere with the body and stop spinning immediately. For beginners, this is a yoyo that can be played casually from up and down to sleep and around the world.
For advanced users, the level of skill has to be reduced and the yo-yo has to be used within limits.
If you try to force yourself to do something you can't do, stress will build up, so I think the fun way to play is to find a routine that you can use as a habit and just repeat it over and over. The model is quite a peculiar one if you try to ‘master’ it, as it is neither fast nor slow.
The silicone body and plastic bearings make it a yo-yo that can be played by the pool if you don't mind getting the string wet. If you put it in seawater, the nut may rust, so please wash it in water and remove the salt (rust is not covered by the warranty). The manufacturer does not recommend this, but you can play with it in various places at your own risk as you can play in ways you cannot normally do.
The yo-yo can also be washed in water, so it is sure to play an active role in outdoor activities.
The cost of this yo-yo is due to the fact that it is mass-produced for distribution, but if it were manufactured in small lots as a regular competition model, it would cost more than a plastic model, so the selling price would be more than 10,000 yen. We hope you enjoy the bargain of the difference.
And finally, in the #Spin Gadget Trilogy, we will be incorporating into yo-yos a difficult material that even major brands have tried to commercialise in the past, but have been put off due to the instability of the material. The model is a gamble, as it was manufactured without a prototype, and at the moment it is not even known if the yo-yo will function as a yo-yo. After receiving the yo-yo, we will review it and make sure it is usable before selling it. We will do our best to ensure that the last Trilogy model is not put into storage.
