The PLTPS (pronounced like “platypus”) is designed for modern-responsive counterweight play, and it’s one of the most unique yo-yos I’ve ever designed. Taking elements from some of my other responsive yo-yos (like the Pop Art, Weekender, and Day Tripper), I wanted to design a responsive yo-yo that could also take a beating. The walls on the PLTPS are a nice high wall, for epic string stalls, but they also have a huge schmoove groove to reduce string friction as much as possible.

I also wanted pull-starts to be a big feature too, so a lot of work was put into getting the finger cups just right. But most importantly, I wanted a beautiful yo-yo that came with matching counterweights… because all yo-yos should have matching counterweights. The PLTPS is the final result. Even if you aren’t using it with the counterweights, this yo-yo is one of my favorite responsive yo-yos on the market.
