This is the signature model of JAPAN TECHNOLOGY's official member, Jeon Ji Hwan.

The project of this signature model started when Ji Hwan won the Asia title in the summer of 2014.

When he won the title, he was using ULTIMATE EAGLE +S which was the closest to Ji Hwan's ideal model. Also, it was JAPAN TECHNOLOGY's ideal off-string model, too. It was designed to the utmost limit as a off-string yoyo. However, just a little difference of the size of bearings, accelerators, spacers, and stainless rings caused instability, and it didn't lead mass production. We didn't have any options but to improve ULTIMATE EAGLE.

We researched and tried to make our ideal model to a real form, but a few months passed without achieving anything.

Making yoyos designed by Ji Hwan out of plastic seemed extremely impossible.

"Small in diameter", "ideal width", "sharpness", "stability", "speed", "light model", "grind", "finger tricks", and the hardest part was that he wanted yoyos to go 3 meters up only with a slight twist of the wrist while performing "Shoot the Moon".

If we put all of these together in one yoyo, it can be JAPAN TECHNOLOGY's new model. We kept believing in that.

One day, we got a hint from something unexpected.

I grabbed one of the FiReal's prototypes without thinking anything. Then, I found a secret.

We made many prototypes before FiReal was born.

One of the prototypes was made roughly to test the balance. It was planed until we felt like we had the ideal weight.

When I was playing with that prototype, I wondered, "it's very light, but still stable. How light did they make it?" When I checked the weight, it was surprisingly 71.6 grams.

At that moment, my thought was reset.

We were focusing on the light weight to answer Ji Hwan's demand, but actually that was making it impossible to answer his demand. When I got the idea of reverse thinking, impossible things became possible. The complicated problems were easily solved.

However, we had to digitize some conditions, but it would take a lot of time to digitize it by ourselves. So, we decided to ask for help from a research institution.

A lot of experiments were practiced by JAPAN TECHNOLOGY, a manufacturing factory, and the research institution.

After one year, it was finally completed.

It was named after supreme god, "HORUS" which means that it will stand above all and ascertain them.

This is the model that Ji Hwan was seeking.

HORUS was born from the idea of reverse thinking. It is actually heavy, but feels light. Ji Hwan was actually surprised and had to make sure if it was actually 78 grams.

The weight is actually heavy, but has a light feeling when used, just as Ji Hwan likes.

Because of that, HORUS's speed is amazing.

Also, it has stability not because of the size in diameter or the edge, but because of the actual weight.

The inverse round shape achieved the "sharpness", and the weight, diameter, width, bearing size achieved yoyos to go up high only with a slight twist of the wrist while performing "Shoot the Moon".

JAPAN TECHNOLOGY hopes many off-string players will use and maximize this model's possibility.

Recently yoyos use high-quality materials or use mixed materials. That makes players think yoyos are high-quality and expensive. Actually yoyos' prices have risen even more.

HORUS doesn't contain any metal rims. It is made of all plastic just as it has been.

We didn't make this plastic model to lower the production cost. When we tried to make high-quality yoyos, we ended up using plastic.

We believe that the commercial value is not only about the materials or the cost that we can see.

It's about "how many people helped to create this work", and "how much we concerned and loved it without giving up".
